At Pam's Gym & Tonic, we’re all about empowering you to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle while boosting your strength, endurance, flexibility, and mobility. Whether you’re running a 5K, flowing through Pilates, strengthening with Barre, Beach bootcamp, or sweating it out in Functional, Tabata, and Step, we make fitness fun!
From Beach Bootcamps to our end-of-month celebrations, we’re more than just a gym—we’re a community where friendships are built and fitness goals are crushed.
Pam's Gym & Tonic was remodeled with grit, determination, and faith—where God guides, He provides. No business loans, no credit cards, just careful planning and trust in the process. The equipment? It started with the bootcamp gear from Pam's side hustle. Slowly but surely, more has been added, finally creating a fully equipped, functional space.
We’ve got everything from dumbbells and kettlebells to straight bars, curl bars with plates, resistance bands, stability balls, Pilates balls, stretch sticks, weighted bars, wall-mounted barres, a punching bag, a pull-up bar, and a weight bench.
Next up: upgrading the floors to a padded yet sturdy surface and adding a Pilates reformer machine to expand our offerings.
This small business is a testament to hard work, faith, and purpose—designed to empower women with everything they need to achieve their fitness goals. 💪✨

R.I.P. JESSIE MARY BILLIOT (She has now gone home to be with the Lord.)
Pam's 81 year old mother had Lewy Body Dementia. She was in the hospital for two weeks before Pam brought her home. Check out what a clean diet, supplements, grounding, & exercise did!
Two weeks of rehab at the hospital made her way worse!
They had taken her walker away, labeled her a fall risk, and insisted on pushing her around in a chair. Instead of helping her to the bathroom, they put diapers on her. Instead of letting her bathe herself, they bathed her “once in a while.” They gave her highly processed food and over medicated her. They didn’t let her go outside for fresh air once during a two week stay.
She came home way less independent then she went in, & mentally out of it. Thank God that food is medicine & the body is meant to heal itself!
Pam had her mom clean eating and juicing, and encouraged her to do things on her own. Her mom had assisted and independent workouts daily at Pam's house. Pam drastically reduced her medication and drastically increased supplementation. Pam's mom spent at least 45 minutes grounding each day—bare-feet on the ground, getting her Vitamin D, & she has very limited TV access with no news. (The news was making her depressed!)

Lots of veggies and lots of water work wondrous results. “But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way… ‘Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.’ At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food” (Daniel 1:8, 12,13,15)."

Despite battling CRPS, overcoming frozen shoulder and carpal tunnel, enduring adrenal fatigue, and navigating life with no knee cartilage, Pam continues to outperform those half her age. She turned 60 this April and feels healthier than she did most of her life! After welcoming four kids in four years (in her 40s), including twins at 42, and navigating single motherhood, her journey proves that through her faith and fierce determination, Pam transformed life's hurdles into stepping stones toward the healthiest version of herself.

I’m thrilled to be the new running coach for Pam's Gym and Tonic! As I turn 59 this August, I reflect on a journey that began just before my 50th birthday. Growing up, I was incredibly shy and never participated in sports or physical activities. But running my first mile was a transformative experience – it was like discovering my happy place.
Since then, I’ve run in numerous 5k and 10k races, but it was the longer distances that truly captivated me. I’ve completed around 16 half marathons, 8 full marathons, and 3 ultra marathons.
Among my proudest moments are running the New York Marathon and the Chicago Marathon. The Boston Marathon is still a dream, one that would complete my marathon trifecta. Speaking of trifectas, I’ve also conquered two Spartan trifecta races.
Running isn’t about competition for me; it’s about the joy and fulfillment it brings. Long runs are my sanctuary, offering profound mental health benefits and a deep connection with myself.
Through this journey, I’ve built invaluable friendships – some who run ahead, some alongside, and others behind me.
As I near 59, I remain hopeful that my body will continue to embrace the pavement’s demands. Age is just a number; I may slow down a bit, but my passion for running remains undeterred. Here’s to many more miles and cherished memories ahead!
